To start the side quest, you need to head towards the far eastern side of the map, near Zora’s Domain. Look for a location approximately in the middle of that area. Once you arrive at the designated spot, you’ll encounter a character named Yona. You can find her just before the stairs leading up to the throne. Interact with Yona to engage in a conversation regarding the search for Zora Greaves. After the dialogue with Yona concludes, the quest will begin.

For the quest, proceed southeast towards the East Reservoir Lake. As you proceed to the location, you will notice an enormous whirlpool in the center of the water body. Jump into the whirlpool. No matter where you land near the whirlpool, it will pull you under. Once you are underwater, Ascend the staircase directly in front of you. As you proceed with the quest, you will navigate through more water. You can use your ability to jump onto a ledge and fly across the entire distance. However, if unsure, rely on the wooden platforms to rest and regain stamina while swimming.

After reaching the top, continue descending the staircase until you arrive at a massive area. Behind a large pillar structure (Refer to the above image). Paraglide your way around the structure and you’ll spot a significant hole in the ground. Descend into the hole and keep going until you reach the bottom. You are almost at the end of the quest now.

From there, proceed towards the waterfall. Now, you will come in close vicinity with Talus, a boss in the game. You can either fight or avoid him and get behind the waterfall. Once you’ve successfully reached the area behind the waterfall, you’ll discover a chest. Open it to find the Zora Greaves. Congrats on completing the A Token of Friendship side quest.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is playable on Nintendo Switch.
