Where are the A Trip Through History Stone Slabs in Tears of the Kingdom?
The A Trip Through History side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom requires you to climb up into four giant rings around Kakariko Village. All you need to do is find a notebook that translates the stone slabs inside, then go talk to Bugut.
The first ring is above the East Hill Chasm. This is the area where the Great Fairy Fountain used to be in Breath of the Wild. Walk in and read the notebook. You can also talk to Xalis, a researcher walking around this area. Either way will work.
To find the second ring, paraglide to the mountain west of you. The translation is located on scaffolding next to the sleeping inn owner.

The third ring is straight south from the previous. When you arrive, you will find a couple of men arguing about offensive or defensive approaches being the best. Walk inside, and you must contend with a group of enemies. You can find this Tears of the Kingdom stone slab translation near where they were camping.
For the final ring, head east. The ring is sitting above the trail to enter Kakariko Village.
After reading all four translations, go to Bugut and tell him all the translations. You will complete the side quest, and he will give you three Thunderwing Butterflies. These can be used to make elixirs that give you electric resistance.
