The Ekochiu Shrine can be a tricky Shrine until you realize that it tests your ability to use Recall. Once you familiarize yourself with each puzzle’s workings, you can pass through the sections and get your Light of Blessing. Unlike the Tajikats Shrine, you won’t require the Ultrahand to do much work. You will need good timing and reflexes because Recall isn’t absolute and you can fall off platforms. Pay attention and take your time with each section, testing Recall with every puzzle. This allows you to complete the Shrine without too many issues and grab the treasure inside.

Rise and Fall
You will find the Ekochiu Shrine north of the Woodland Stable in Eldin Canyon, to the northeast. After leaving the stable, go northeast up a slope and you should see the Shrine in plain sight. It never hurts to get a horse to cut down on the travel time, though it isn’t in a hard-to-reach location.
First Section
Upon entering the Shrine, you will see a button that launches a block to the other side, then slowly returns to its initial position. Step on the button to launch the block and wait for it to come back. Stand on top of the block when it returns and use Recall. Wait until the block is far enough on the other side before you jump off and head to the next section.
Second Section
The second section of the Shrine involves a block falling into water, then slowly going off the waterfall. You must swim through the water and quickly climb the block, then use Recall to rewind its progress. Keep in mind that the block turns when it falls down initially, meaning you will be knocked off the top. It won’t knock you back into the water, but the block can squish you against a small wall if you aren’t careful.

At the top, you can turn around and see a treasure chest on the lower level, on a platform surrounded by water. Jump and glide down using the paraglider to reach it. The chest contains a Zonaite Shield with 11 Defence. Make your way back up if you fail or after you grab the treasure.
Third (Final) Section
The last section of Ekochiu Shrine requires you to use a block that is on your bottom right. There is a button in front of you that launches a platform upwards. Drop down a level and head right to find it. Place the block on the small launch platform, then go up to the button and activate it. This launches the block and you should wait for it to come down.
Climb the block and use Recall to rewind time, waiting for the highest point before you jump and glide towards the shrine platform. That’s all you need to do and can grab your Light of Blessing once you are done.
It takes a different thought process from the Ancient Shrines in Breath of the Wild. But with proper timing and practice, you shouldn’t have a problem clearing the Ekochiu Shrine.
