Georgie’s Ask is a standard Quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed that takes place in Chapter 4 after returning to Colony 9. Just like Bobobi’s Bad, Bad Day, this quest unlocks a structure in Colony 9: the Canteen. It allows you to obtain new recipes through quests throughout the story. There are two parts to Georgie’s Ask, which involve gathering materials, including Dance Apples. The first part will involve materials you already have on hand, while the second involves finding unique materials. There will be combat, similar to The Running Automaton, but nothing that you can’t handle at this point.
How to Start Georgie’s Ask
You begin Georgie’s Ask by going to the northeast part of the Central Plaza. A quest marker will be present and a scene plays shortly after you step inside. Georgie needs help building the Canteen and requires materials to begin construction. You must choose from a list of materials that will contribute to a progress bar. When it reaches 100%, the Canteen is built.
The material list includes:
- Winding Gear
- Twin Generators
- Blossom Belt
- Fluid Cranker
- Strong Screw
- Modern Resistor
- Bullet Screen
- Rainbow Zirconia
Most of these materials can be found around the Aurora Shelf, such as the Blossom Belt, Fluid Cranker, and Bullet Screen. You can travel around Yesterdale looking for the Rainbow Zirconia but that can take a while. It’s better to go around the Aurora Shelf and collect gear collectibles on the ground, which quickly fill out the progress bar.

Once you fill out the progress bar, the Canteen will be fully constructed but you won’t be able to use it yet. Georgie wants to thank you with a special dish but she is out of Dance Apples. You must find five Dance Apples in Yesterdale and bring them to her. The area where the Dance Apples are covers a wide circle around Tephra Hill, west of Colony 9. Unfortunately, two of the Apples require some good positioning, and two more are guarded by enemies. Make sure you are at least Level 33-35 before taking on this quest or you could have a difficult time.
Finding the Dance Apples in Georgie’s Ask
Unlike other collectibles, the Dance Apples will show up on your map with the teal quest marker when you get close. Pay attention, since the quest marker radius covers a good part of Tesphra Hill but doesn’t tell you any locations until you can see a Dance Apple. They look like an Unlock Kit but grant Dance Apples for the quest.
Two of the Dance Apples are located slightly southeast of the ladder, but you must look off a cliff to find them. One is on a rock wall you can jump down to. Another is in the leaves of a tree; you must jump towards it for a successful collection. If you fail, you must try again until you are successful.
The third Dance Apple is found near a ladder that you must fix which leads to the Ulcar Monument landmark in The Ragmos Desolation. In between the two ladders is a small area with the Apple.
The fourth and fifth Dance Apples are found west of the Main Entrance to Colony 9. They are guarded by three Level 34 enemies which attack if you get close to the Dance Apple. For the fourth Apple, there is a chance you can take it while the enemies move out of range. This isn’t possible for the fifth Apple as the enemies do not move. Fight them individually if you can, but they aren’t strong enough that you can’t take on all three at once.
Completing the George’s Ask Quest
Return to the Canteen and turn in the Dance Apples to complete Georgie’s Ask. The Canteen is now accessible and you can return throughout the story to take on quests that provide new recipes. You also get the Curry Recipe, allowing you to make Curry at Rest Spots.
That does it for how to complete Georgie’s Ask in Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed. If you haven’t started exploring the world in Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed, now would be a good time to start. If you are feeling rusty, play the main game again until you remember the basics, then jump into the DLC.
