Want to know how to complete Redacted and find the legendary Bodycount rifle in Dead Island 2? Despite the fascinating story and fun gameplay of Dead Island 2, one of the game’s hallmarks is a large arsenal of weapons. Some you can find just in the middle of the street, while better weapons are only available during story quests and Lockboxes. But to get the best legendary guns, you must find secret side quests, one of which is Redacted. To complete Redacted in Dead Island 2, you must visit the military base, find documents, and get to the legendary Bodycount rifle, and today we will help you with this.

First of all, Redacted is a late/post-story quest. So before you start it, you must go through most of the story or complete the campaign. Once you’ve done that, you can travel to Venice Beach and visit the military camp. There are a lot of high-level zombies here, but you are only interested in one of them.

Visit the first point in the image above and enter the military camp. Next, turn left and go to the military tent next to the left wall. You will find a zombie Lt. Ford inside, and you can kill him to pick up the documents and start the Redacted quest.

After receiving the Redacted quest in Dead Island 2, you must find the Legendary Bodycount Rifle to complete it, and here’s how to do it:

  • Exit the military camp and walk along the beach in a northeasterly direction.
  • Travel to the second point in the image above and enter the military complex.
  • Enter through the metal gate and interact with the control panel on the left side to enter the territory of the military complex.
  • Next, turn right and open the mesh gate by pressing the red button.
  • Crouch to not touch the explosive mechanism and go through the door to your right. Go through several rooms and exit through the metal door to the beach.
  • Go around container 63 to your right and enter container 66.
  • Break the wooden crates and take the Legendary Bodycount Rifle to your left.
