In this article, we provide you with a guide on how to complete Rock For Sale in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Rock For Sale is a side quest in which you need to clear The Jochi-ihiga Shrine. Many players avoid this quest, but it’s quite simple, won’t take much time, and is also very interesting. To complete this quest, you need to have a green stone and overcome a certain path to put this stone in front of the shrine door, after which the door will open. You will need to bargain with the merchant to deliver the green stone using a railcar and then create a vehicle to deliver it to the Shrine across the lake, and this will not only bring you closer to the full completion of the game but also surprise you with a good reward. And below, you will learn where to get this stone and how to get to the Jochi-ihiga Shrine with it in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Rock For Sale Walkthrough

When you first get to the Jochi-Ihiga Shrine at Lake Akkala and try to enter, you will see a message that says, “Seek the crystal connected to the beam, and offer it at the shrine.” This beam will show the way to Tarrey Town, and it is there that we can get the green stone that will open the door to the Shrine.

Talk With Hagie to Take a Green Crystal

To start the Rock For Sale quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you need to go to coordinates 3921, 1599, 0128, where you will meet a man named Hagie, and he will offer you to buy a stone for 100 rupees. If you want to save money, you should never accept his offer because, after a sufficient number of refusals, his wife will come and yell at him for trying to scam Link. This will force Hagie to sell you the stone for only 50 rupees. To transport the stone, you must also buy railcar access from him which will cost you 20 rupees.

Use The Railcar to get to the Hudson Construction HQ

After you buy railcar access, you have to load the stone onto the wooden platform of the railcar. To secure it there, use the Ultrahand ability and then shoot the bow at the mechanism or hit the railcar in the back to start moving. When you reach your destination, stop the railcar and detach the stone.

Build a vehicle to reach the Shrine

Now you’re at Hudson Construction HQ in Torin Wetland, which is a very lucky thing for you. There you will find enough building materials to build everything you might need to transport the stone.

To the south, you can find a lake, and there you can see the ray illuminating the Jochi-ihiga Shrine. You have different options to get the stone there. You can take a cart and attach wheels to it to get the stone to the water. Then create a raft using a wooden platform and about two fans and take it to the stone. But be careful because if you move too far away from the vehicle, it will disappear.

Alternatively, you can not use the cart. Make a raft, attach the stone to it, and use the Ultrahand to take them directly to the water. When the raft and the stone are near the lake, turn it towards Jochi-ihiga Shrine and hit the fans with the weapon to start floating.

Use the crystal to activate the Shrine

All you have to do is insert the green crystal in its place and get the Blessing of Light. Now you can enter the Jochi-ihiga Shrine and open the chest that is there. There you will find a whole Diamond, and this is a great find because, in Goron City, they can be sold for as much as 1,000 rupees. That’s it with the Rock For Sale quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Rock For Sale in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is a fun quest in which you need to use different methods and devices to deliver a green crystal to Shrine and get the reward that was hidden behind closed doors. Although this quest is quite easy, we hope our guide was useful for you and that you learned the necessary information.

The Zelda Tears of the Kingdomย is available on Nintendo Switch.
