Would you like to know how to complete Taunhiy Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? Unlike the Jojon or Ekochiu Shrines, this dungeon does not exactly exist on the map—at least not until you perform one simple action. Once that’s done, it will be time to pull out your bow and arrow to complete Taunhiy Shrine’s various “Combat Training: Archery” challenges. This guide will explain how you can find and clear the Taunhiy Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom.
Where To Find the Taunhiy Shrine Location in Tears of the Kingdom
Before you can complete the Taunhiy Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom, you must first travel over to Courage Island in the Central Hyrule Sky. The fastest way to get over to the island will be to take the Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower, which is directly north of Hyrule Ridge. Once you’ve hit the skies, glide to the top of the nearby island that bears a spiraling staircase. You must then interact with the island’s ring sculpture to begin activating the shrine.
However, Taunhiy Shrine won’t appear just yet. At the top level, you must make your way over to the glowing ledge and jump through every green ring below. If you happen to miss any of the rings, a Steward Construct on the bottom floor will send you back to the ledge to try again.

After you’ve successfully passed through each ring, the Taunhiy Shrine should then spawn out of thin air on the bottom floor. Once you are inside, a voice will call on you to defeat a Construct by firing arrows at it in midair. Luckily, this is possible by double jumping onto one of the room’s four vents and then pressing “ZR” to launch the arrow at the Construct.
It is also important to note that there is a bench in the front left corner of the room that holds extra arrows if you run out. You must repeat the process one more time, but there will be three enemies to defeat for this final stage. As difficult as it sounds, it is best to aim for the Constructs’ heads, with it causing each to instantly blow up.
Link will receive a Light of Blessing for a job well done, but there’s even more to discover on Courage Island. Those who speak to the Steward Construct near the shrine can partake in the challenge of diving through the rings in under 35 seconds. If participants are successful, the Construct will reward Link the Glide Shirt, which has 2 Strength and added Skydive Mobility.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
