Completing the Teach Me a Lesson I quest in Tears of the Kingdom is essential to earning Symin’s trust and support in the classroom. Once you have fulfilled this requirement, return to the primary school in the northern part of Hateno Village. Locate Symin, who can be easily found in the classroom.

This will be the first step to completing Teach Me a Lesson 2 in Tears of the Kingdom. Symin will emphasize the importance of teaching his students vital survival skills in a challenging world. To achieve this, he kindly requests your assistance in preparing Monster Curry.

You must procure three specific ingredients from various stores across Hyrule to accomplish this task. These ingredients are Goron Spice, Hylian Rice, and Monster Extract.

  • Goron Spice: Teleport to Goron City and head to the General Store to purchase Goron Spice for a reasonable price of 16 rupees. This ingredient will help you complete Teach Me a Lesson 2 in Tears of the Kingdom.
  • Monster Extract: To get some Monster Extract, teleport to Tarrey Town, located north of Hateno Village. In Tarrey Town, you’ll come across a Rito creature named Fyson. Engage in conversation with him, and for 50 rupees, you can get some Monster Extract.
  • Hylian Rice: You likely have the Hylian Rice in your inventory. If not, you can acquire it from the General Store in Hateno Village.

Once you’ve got all the ingredients in your inventory, you can complete Teach Me a Lesson 2 in Tears of the Kingdom. Find a cooking pot and prepare the recipe Symin requested. Once the curry is cooked, return to the school and serve a portion to the students in the classroom. Remember, class begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m. So you won’t find the kids in Hateno School at another time.

With Teach Me a Lesson 2 in Tears of the Kingdom completed you will assume the role of a teacher at Hateno School. This sounds like a huge responsibility, but it also grants you access to the school’s facilities.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
