We finally have our yearly summer event, and while many veterans know the drill already, some new Guardians might require guidance. One of the best things you can do to learn the ropes of the Solstice 2025 event in Destiny 2 is to complete the “Celebrating Solstice” quest, which should be enough to show you the event’s loop. If you’re unsure about where to grab the quest or what you need to do to complete it, this guide should help you.

Celebrating Solstice 2025 Quest Walkthrough

The Celebrating Solstice 2025 quest of Destiny 2 consists of six steps, which teach about the currency, armor forging, and even the event’s modifiers. To grab it, head to the Tower and speak with Eva Levante. After that, complete these steps:

Steps 1 to 6

Complete a Solo, Fireteam, or Pinnacle Opos activity in the Portal with at least one Solstice modifier active or complete a match in the Solstice Scorched Crucible Ops playlist.

  • All the abovementioned activities already have Solstice modifiers active. You can check it by going to your modifiers before queuing up for an activity. If there isn’t one, you can enable it by going to Boons and Events before starting an activity.

Claim the first Event Rank reward from the Solstice Event Home.

  • Just head to the event’s page and look for your Rewards Track to grab the first reward.

Acquire additional Solstice Alloy by completing activities throughout the system. Harder activities like dungeons or raids award more Alloy.

  • Solo Ops give 30 Solstice Alloy, so you can farm a couple of them until you get 100. However, you could also grab a team to complete a Raid or Dungeon, but Solo Ops are the easiest way to get the event’s currency.

Forge a piece of Solstice armor at the Solstice Forge.

  • You’ll need 100 Solstice Alloy for one piece. You can find the Solstice Forge in the event’s menu.

Claim your first Triumph from the Title tab of the Solstice Event Home.

  • Head to the event’s title tab to claim your Triumph. You can track Triumphs from there.

Return to Eva Levante in the Tower to revel in the Solstice spirit.

  • Speak with Eva to complete the quest.

By following the Celebrating Solstice quest of 2025, you’ll learn about most of the systems in this event for Destiny 2. The most important one is the armor forging, but even if you don’t want it, you can focus on farming Solo Ops to get the event’s engrams, which can give you one of the two new weapons that are available during Solstice 2025.
