Those who diligently dig up every sparkling dirt mound node they see in the Valley will undoubtedly have many Night Shards in their inventory or Storage. Dream Shards, conversely, are quite tricky to obtain due to their rarity and low-RNG drop rate. Nevertheless, acquiring 10 Dream Shards for this quest is a feat that most Dreamers can accomplish within less than a week of clearing Night Thorns and foraging.
