It can be frustrating when you come across a shrine that stumps you in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Sometimes, this happens when you are forced to build a vehicle and are not suited for that job. When you enter the Lake Intenoch Cave in the Eldin region, you will find a shrine crystal that wants you to deliver it across a lake of lava. Doing this unlocks the Moshapin Shrine. Here is how to cross the Lake Intenoch Cave lava in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
How To Cross the Lake Intenoch Cave Lava in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Obviously, with a big lake of lava between you and the shrine, this Tears of the Kingdom puzzle requires you to build something. Even with the most fire-resistant clothes, Link is still very flammable and won’t be able to swim in lava. You’ll need the right parts to create your own vehicle for crossing the lava. However, the cave will actually provide you with the two items you need to get across.

To cross the Lake Intenoch Cave lava, we will build a raft.
- First, while facing the lava, turn left and kill the Fire Like on the wall.
- Behind it is a Zonai Hydrant; strike it to make it spit out water.
- Pick it up to dump water in the lava. After a few seconds, this will create a little platform that you can stand on. This will be our means of transporting the crystal across the lake.
- Next, on the right side of the lava bank, there is a Zonai Fan. Using Ultrahand, pick it up and attach it to the back of your platform in the lava.
- Now grab the green crystal and attach it to the platform as well.
With both pieces firmly in place, position your makeshift raft so that the fan will blow you directly along the beam’s line to the Moshapin Shrine in TotK. Since there is a lavafall in front of the hallway you need to get to, aim a little to the right so you hit the rocks on the side.
Turn off the fan when you get to the other side so you don’t accidentally get pushed into the lavafall. Detach your crystal and carry it into the hallway, where you will unlock the shrine. You now know how to complete the Lake Intenoch Cave Crystal in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
