In Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, doing Shrine quests is a must, either to complete the game completely or for different rewards. These Shrine quests can give you valuable items such as Large Zonai Charge, Big Battery, or Diamonds. However, these Shrine quests can be extremely difficult and contain complex puzzles, so completing them becomes a challenging experience. Fortunately, we will explain how to get the Crystal in the Northwest Hebra Cave to unlock the Rutafu-um Shrine in TotK.

To get to Northwest Hebra Cave in TotK, you need to get to Selmie’s Spot, located near Hebra East Summit. Go to the front of the Campfire at Selmie’s Spot and take the house to your right and you will see a mountain of rock. Head towards it and you will see that there is a cave underneath. There will be enemies above the entrance to the cave, but you don’t have to fight them. Jump through the hole and land with the help of your Paraglider.

The Northwest Hebra Cave Crystal is located in the water but you should stay away from it because it’s freezing. If you touch the water, your health will start to drain very quickly. You will see a group of Bokoblins sitting by the campfire right at the water’s edge. You can defeat this group quite easily using a Bomb Flower and get back to your quest.

In the chamber behind this group is the Rutafu-um Shrine. When you go to this Shrine and interact with it, The Northwest Hebra Cave Crystal quest will begin. A green laser will emerge from the Rutafu-um Shrine and show you where Crystal is. Crystal is located in the lake behind you, but you cannot enter it because it is freezing.

To get the Crstal, go to the opposite side of the lake and you will see an Ice Shard on the ground. These Ice Shards are also on the ceiling, so you can combine 2-3 Ice Shards to create a longer stick. Attach these Ice Shards to one another and connect this long stick to Crystal. Then use your Ultrahand again to retrieve the stick with Crystal.

Then get the Crystal and complete the Northwest Hebra Cave Crystal quest by placing it in the Rutafu-um Shrine. The inside of the Rutafu-um Shrine is very short and there will be a chest with a Topaz.
