The Unrestricted Access DMZ mission in Warzone 2 is a Tier 5 Redacted faction task. This mission is again for the Shadow Company, AKA Redacted, and it tasks you to eliminate enemy AI targets in specific zones in Koschei Complex. However, these zones are restricted, and you won’t be able to access them as easily as the mission’s name. Having trouble with the Unrestricted Access DMZ mission? What Are The Objectives of The Unrestricted Access DMZ Mission?
- Clear 4 Restricted Zones in Koschei Complex.
- Extract intel from fallen Soldiers – AQ Command Notes item.
As you can see, the Unrestricted Access mission is guiding us to clear out four restricted zones. Now you have probably encountered some doors in the Al-Mazrah’s Koschei Complex requiring an L2 Key. These doors are tagged as “Restricted” and are the places that we are looking for. In order to get inside them, we have three options:
- The first solution to find the L2 Key is to loot the Koschei Complex. After searching around in this area, there’s a high chance that you or your teammates will find such a key.
- The second way is to buy this key for $50 from the buy station in the Factory Admin area.
- The third way is to get yourself a Skeleton Key and open the restricted zones to make progress in the Unrestricted Access DMZ mission.
Now after you’ve obtained the key from one of the three ways mentioned above, you can go for the restricted zones themself. These areas can be found around the map, and you can find some in the Alpha Cluster and Factory Admin’s area. Green-looking doors hint at the restricted zones here. After you open them, you should kill every AI soldier in the restricted zone to progress in your mission.
Keep in mind that these restricted zones can be cleared again and again each time you spawn. You don’t have to clear all four in one run to complete Unrestricted Access in Warzone 2. You can find one restricted zone, clear it, exfil, and then return to it the next time you play DMZ in Koschei Complex again.
Next, for the second objective of the Unrestricted Access DMZ mission in Warzone 2, you need to exfil with a certain item in your backpack. This item is the AQ Command Notes, and you’ll find them in those restricted zones. When you clear the area, one of the soldiers will drop this item. And you need to exfil with it in your backpack when doing one of those zone-clearing runs for the first objective.
After you’ve completed both objectives of the Unrestricted Access DMZ mission in Warzone 2, you’ll be rewarded with a Contraband EBR-14. You’ll also get 20K worth of XP to rank up and progress in your battle pass.
