No boss fights are as dramatic as the one against Romeo boss, King of Puppets, in Lies of P. As Pinocchio wanders further into Krat, he continues to run into equally jaw-dropping and frustrating bosses. They are worthy of admiration because their design is frankly showstopping. But, alas, as this is a pretty tough game, we’ve grown to develop a love-hate relationship with them.

Romeo Phase 1 Strategy
If you’ve got a summon, now’s the time to call them to battle. They can take Romeo head-on while you focus on dealing damage to its back, or… well, given its enormous size, its butt.
After taking 50% damage, Romeo, King of Puppets in Lies of P, will fall. This is the perfect time to deal damage relentlessly.

Romeo Phase 2 Strategy
As soon as the battle starts, Romeo will instantly make his way over to you with his sickle, dealing quite heavy damage. So, don’t waste a second after regaining control of Pinocchio.
In case you couldn’t tell, Romeo doesn’t mess around. He goes straight to the point, deals massive damage, and backs out. These moments in which he slowly roams the arena in preparation for his next deadly attack are the best moments to target him. The Romeo boss, King of Puppets in Lies of P, moves quickly, but his sickle isn’t that fast. There’s a slow pause whenever he strikes, leaving him completely exposed to one or two hits. Granted, you’ll just have to say thank you for that slow progress and dodge your way out of the area after landing them.
If you spot Romeo targeting your summon, take advantage of it because it won’t last long.
Lies of P is available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
