Valheim is one of the more recent survival games that are still in Early Access, but it has already found its fanbase. Recently the game has been added to Game Pass as well and its fanbase has grown. As the fanbase grows and new players join the game, they will have more questions about how the game works and what they can do in the game. Many new players might wonder how to dual-wield weapons or even if it’s possible to do it in Valheim.
How to Dual-Wield Weapons in Valheim
Valheim is a survival game where you will eventually have to fight your way to progress through the wild world of this game. The better your weapons, the more damage you can deal with and end the fight before you get seriously hurt.
When it comes to dealing more damage in games like Valheim, dual-wielding swords or any weapon is one of the options that come into mind. It takes more stamina to use two weapons but on the other hand, it deals more damage.
But the problem is that we don’t have this option in Valheim at the time of writing this article. Since the game is still in Early Access there is a good chance that dual-wielding weapons will be added in the full game.
Right now you can only use a sword or hammer or any other weapon of choice on one hand and use a shield on the other. Also, make sure to upgrade your weapons regularly as much as you can, since you cannot use two weapons at once.
The studio behind the game hasn’t mentioned anything about dual-wielding weapons and whether they will be added to the game later on or not. But as mentioned before, we are away from the release of the full game.
Until then it is best to put your focus on what the game does offer. For instance, you have many options of weapons that you can find in the world or craft yourself. You can also upgrade and customize them after obtaining them.
