One of the most annoying mechanics in Assassin’s Creed Shadows is unblockable attacks. One of those, especially in Expert difficulty, can kill you instantly. Fortunately, Yasuke can brush these attacks off and negate everything with the Protector’s Armor set. The best thing about it is that, after you unlock it, you can engrave the perk in other armor sets, making this passive skill one of the most OP, not only in the early-game, but throughout the whole campaign.
Obtaining the Protector’s Armor

The first thing you’ll need to use the perk is the Protector’s Armor. You can find it inside Nijo Palace after defeating the two samurai and opening the legendary chest. Once you loot it, you’ll get the legendary Protector’s Armor at whatever level you are at the moment, and the Parry Unblockables Engraving, which is one of the most OP perks in the game.

The armor will have the perk by default, but once you upgrade your Forge to level 2, you can add the Engraving to any other armor that has a slot for it.
Parrying Unblockable Attacks

The Protector’s Armor will let Yasuke parry unblockable attacks, but beware, you must parry the attack, as the skill claims. Blocking an unblockable attack will still damage Yasuke, so it needs to be a perfect parry to activate. However, once you do that, the enemy will become vulnerable (shown by the yellow aura around an enemy’s body). When the enemy is vulnerable, you can perform the usual four-hit combo and follow up with any other skill to do as much damage as possible.
Overall, this armor is one of the most OP in the game. If you don’t like the looks of it, you can always change its visual aspect through the equipment menu. On the other hand, you can also use the engraving on another armor set, so you can use the skill, alongside another one from a different armor set. In any case, we recommend having this engraving equipped at all times, especially since Yasuke will do most of its fighting without stealth. Also, the fact that you get this armor so early in the game is great, and you can keep it with you throughout the whole campaign.
