Baldur’s Gate 3 features one of the most impressive worlds in RPGs we’ve seen. Whenever you think you’ve seen everything, a new area or structure will add a couple of hours to your playthrough if you wish to see it all. Those brave enough to venture into the Underdark might’ve encountered the Arcane Tower. This place can be easy to miss, depending on how you enter the Underdark, and even if you find it, you’ll need to make your way inside it. Here, we’ve prepared a guide to tell you how to enter the Arcane Tower in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Baldur’s Gate 3: Arcane Tower Location
The easiest way to find the Arcane Tower in Baldur’s Gate 3 is through the Defiled Temple. You can find this temple by entering Priestess Gutz’s chambers inside the Shattered Sanctum of the Goblin Camp. This is another way to reach the Underdark. To do that, you’ll need to complete a puzzle inside the Defiled Temple. Once you finish the puzzle, climb down the ladder to reach the Selunite Outpost in the Underdark.
Once you’re in this place, activate the waypoint and exit through the broken window on the left; you’ll see many petrified people and the Spectator boss. Beat them and follow the trail of petrified people to find the Arcane Tower.
How to Enter the Arcane Tower
If you thought entering the Arcane Tower in Baldur’s Gate 3 would be easy, we have bad news. Two Arcane Turrets guard this place.
When you’re in range, the game will put you into the turn-based mode to hide from their line of fire. All you have to do is stay behind structures to avoid getting hit. By doing so, you’ll be able to reach the corner of the Arcane Tower where the giant mushroom is. From there, follow these steps to enter:
- Jump on the large mushroom across from the tower.
- Jump to the mushroom on the right.
- Keep heading down until you spot the tower on your right and jump to it.
- Once on the ground, head to the garden where the Sussur Bloom and grab one.
- Head back to the right side of the tower, where you jumped, to spot a small hole.
- Use a rat familiar or a Druid character as a cat to enter the Tower.
- Use the Sussur Bloom inside the Tower’s furnace to deactivate the defenses.
