Want to know how to evolve Gimmighoul into Gholdengo in Pokemon Go? While the Pokemon Go Pokedex is crowded with hundreds of unique Pokemon, only the rarest pocket monsters arouse sincere interest among Trainers. But sometimes Pokemon are so rare that they are impossible to find unless certain prerequisites are fulfilled, and Gimmighoul is one of them. However, even if you catch one, the evolution of this Pokemon will be a new challenge because you will need much more than a hundred candies. Accordingly, we are here to teach you how to evolve Gimmighoul into Gholdengo in Pokemon Go.

To evolve Gimmighoul into Gholdengo in Pokemon Go, you must collect 999 Gimmighoul Coins and use them like regular Candy. But before you succeed, you must have several conditions met. First, Gimmighoul doesn’t roam the wild of Pokemon Go, so it’s challenging to catch him. Secondly, to attract Gimmighoul and get more coins, you will need a Coin Bag and special Golden Lure Modules. And the most important thing is that collecting 999 Gimmighoul Coins is incredibly difficult. So you should know about all the ways to farm it.

How To Get a Coin Bag

Connect your Pokemon Go and Scarlet and Violet accounts to get Coin Bag in Pokemon Go. Completing this action, you can send postcards from one game to another. And once you send a postcard from Pokemon Go to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you will be rewarded with a Coin Bag.

It is worth noting that the Coin Bag is an active item that you can use once a day. Coin Bag attracts Gimmighoul for a limited time, similar to how Daily Adventure Incense attracts other Pokemon. It will help you increase your collection of Gimmighouls daily to find the strongest Pokemon and accumulate some coins for capturing them.

How To Catch Gimmighoul in Pokemon Go

Although Coin Bag will help you catch some Gimmighoul, there are other ways. First, Gimmighoul can spawn on its own during certain events. You could participate in such an event in February 2023. However, there’s no official news about the date of any similar event.

Secondly, you will receive unique Golden Lure Modules by repeatedly sending postcards to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Using them on normal PokeStops will make them gold. Spinning these PokeStops will reward you with a small amount of coins. In addition, they attract Gimmighouls.

How To Farm Gimmighoul Coins

As we said earlier, collecting 999 Gimmighoul Coins is the longest challenge on the way to getting Gholdengo. So here is how you can farm this valuable evolution currency:

  • Spin PokeStops with Golden Lure Modules.
  • Catch Gimmighoul.
  • Make Gimmighoul your Buddy and walk with him.
  • Some paid boxes in the in-game store may contain Gimmighoul Coins.

Pokemon Go is available on iOS and Android.
