As we said earlier, to find Prism Trout, you must go to Kilima Valley and walk along the shoreline of the local lake. This colorful fish is found only in the large Kilima Lake in the south and west of this region. But it also occasionally swims into Fisherman’s Lagoon.

You should start your search from the southeastern edge of the lake and move west by visiting locations such as Remembrance Beach and Gillyfin Cove. However, no location guarantees you an increased chance of finding the desired fish, so choose based on your personal preferences. At the same time, focus on the water ripples to get a Quality catch.

It is also important to note that the bright and slightly mirror-like color of Prism Trout serves as a natural camouflage. The rays of the sun blind predators, giving this fish a chance to escape. So if you want to catch Prism Trout, you should go fishing in the Morning or Day Palia time.

How To Catch Prism Trout

Well, once you are in the right place at the right time, all you have to do is choose the right bait. Since Prism Trout is a daytime fish, it does not need glowing bait, but an empty fishing hook is unlikely to attract its attention. So when casting your rod, choose a ordinary Worm, and you will be successful. This also means that you will not be able to catch this fish until you reach fishing level 4. This achievement will unlock the Worm Farm recipe from Einar, and you can also buy this bait at the General Store.

How To Use Prism Trout in Palia

Having a bright and colorful color and being an Uncommon fish, Prism Trout is quite a valuable reward in Palia. You can use it in the following ways:

  • Sell it for 60 Gold or 90 Gold if you get the Quality version.
  • Give Prism Trout as a quest item or gift to some NPCs.
