To find the Joku-U Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you must travel to the southern part of the Hyrule Sky Islands and visit the Faron Grasslands Sky region. You will find this shrine on Thunderhead Isles. The Joku-us Shrine is in the island center, but the Joku-u Shrine is in the easternmost part of this location, on a small Dragonhead Island.

It is worth noting that an eternal storm with lightning rages in this location. Therefore, before you go to this place for the first time, we advise you to complete the Secret of the Ring Ruins quest. Thanks to this, you will disperse the clouds and be able not be afraid of lightning. But if you are not ready to spend time on this quest, remove all metal armor and do not use metal weapons. This way, you won’t attract lightning, but you can still get random lightning strikes if you’re unlucky.

Joku-U Shrine Location

Depending on your progress in the game, there are several ways to get to this shrine. But if you haven’t visited Thunderhead Isles before, here’s the best way to find Joku-U Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom:

  • Taking the Joju-u-u Shrine in Bronas Forest as your starting point, paraglider northeast towards the waterfall.
  • Climb up the cliff or use Zora’s Armor to swim to the top of the waterfall.
  • Find a small shard of sky island, stand on it, and use the Recall ability.
  • Once on sky island, use the paraglider and fly through the hole in the middle of Dragonhead Island.
  • Inside you will find the Joku-U Shrine and can enter.

Since the Joku-U is Rauru’s Blessing-type shrine, you will not find any tests inside. Once you enter, open the chest to get one Diamond. Finally, go to the final altar to complete this shrine and get another Light of Blessing.
