Are you looking for the hidden Lodrum Headland shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? Yomizuk shrine, located in the Lanayru region of the map, can be tricky to find because it deals with Tears of the Kingdom’s new cave mechanics. For exploration purposes, this is exciting, but for players, it can be frustrating having your Purah Pad sensor go off with no shrine in sight and no obvious way to get to where you need to go.
How To Get to the Lodrum Headland Shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
You’ll be able to find Lodrum Headlands on the eastern coast of Hyrule, southeast of Zora’s Domain and north of Mount Lanayru. The shrine in this location, also known as Yomizuk Shrine, is a part of the “True Treasure” side quest, which you’ll be able to pick up in the same location. The Secret Stone geoglyph is also located nearby if you want to pick that up.
Once you get to Lodrum Headlands, you’ll want to turn south and head towards the end of the peninsula. Near the edge of the cliffs, you’ll find some ruined columns and a set of stairs. Head up the stairs, and you’ll find a hole in the ground.
Jump down the hole to discover Tarm Point Cave. Inside the cave, you’ll find Sasan waiting on the shore next to an underground river. Talk to him, and you’ll find out that he’s been separated from his friend, Finley, and needs to cross this river. Agree to help him reach Yomizuk shrine, and you’ll get the side quest “True Treasure.”
On the riverbank near Sasan, you’ll find a raft, several wooden sticks and Korok fronds. Pick up the sticks and use Fuse to attach the Korok fronds, giving you a Korok Wind Guster which will allow you to push the raft down the river. Talk to Sasan again and he’ll get on the raft, which you now need to put into the water with Ultrahand.
Before you do, it’s important to note that Sasan is afraid of two things: sudden movements and drowning. In order to keep him from panicking, you’ll need to slowly put the raft into the water and keep it flat while you do so.
After the raft is in the water, board it and begin using the Korok frond to push it forward. You can also attach a Zonai fan and a steering stick to take the raft across the river, but we had better results using the Korok frond method because it allows for more control of the raft. This is important since the water level in the river is constantly rising and falling, sometimes hiding the rocks you’ll need to weave the raft through to get to the Lodrum Headlands shrine at the other end of the cave.
Remember, Sasan is afraid of drowning, so if the raft gets tipped over or is too low in the water, he’ll panic, and you’ll have to start from the beginning. Overall, don’t be afraid to take your time steering the raft, and don’t be afraid to Fuse more Korok Wind Gusters than you need.
Once you successfully get Sasan across the river, he’ll reunite with Finley and give you an Opal. You’ve completed the “True Treasure” side quest and found Yomizuk Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Now all you have to do is enter it and collect the Light of Blessing since it’s only a Rauru Blessing shrine.
