Looking at the map, you might think that getting to the Chest with a piece of Zonaite Armor is pretty easy. But in fact, it is not, since all Skyview Towers are very far away from the Chest location. So you need to follow these steps to get Zonaite Shin Guards in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Get to the Sky Mine

  1. Fast-travel to the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower and fly to the Sokkala Sky Archipelago.
  2. There you can find some Zonai Devices and a Stone Platform which can be used to fly to the outer islands.
  3. Attach all Zonai Batteries you find to the Platform.
  4. Then take off on this Flying Device and head east.
  5. You can also get there by fast travel to Gikaku Shrine.

Get to the Zonaite Shin Guards

  1. First, interact with the dragon ring to activate the piston, which can launch you into the air so that you get to the next island.
  2. You will need to turn the Pistons a few times to get higher. On the last island, you need to turn a piston and launch a stone block into a huge stone Sphere. (Make sure the stone block hits the hole in the Sphere)
  3. Then launch Link into the same hole.
  4. Once inside, you need to place a stone block on the pressure plate to make the Sphere spin.
  5. After that, use Ascend to get out of the Sphere and then fly through the hole to the bottom of the Sphere.
  6. There you will find a Chest containing Zonaite Shin Guards.
