If you are sad that you have been unable to visit the Gryffindor Common Room as another House’s student in Hogwarts Legacy, you need not be glum any longer. A secret glitch has been discovered that enables students from any House to visit both the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff Common Rooms in Hogwarts. While using exploitative methods to traverse the boarding school might seem immersion-breaking to some, there are more than enough sorcery roleplay scenarios in which you could imagine yourself teleporting into another House’s area.

Entering the Gryffindor Common Room in Hogwarts Legacy

Finding the Quad Courtyard in Hogwarts Legacy

First, access the Transfiguration Courtyard Floo Flame in the Astronomy Wing. After teleporting to this location, turn around and enter the stone-brick corridor facing the marsh outside. Hop through the window on the far right and wade through the water until you fall through the map, completing the first step to finding the Gryffindor Common Room in Hogwarts Legacy.

Wait for one second after falling through the map before getting onto your Broom. Once you are flying, you must make your way to the Faculty Tower. We recommend setting a Waypoint to the tower’s Floo Flame as a visual means to guide your way to the Gryffindor Common Room in Hogwarts Legacy. Continue towards the Faculty Tower’s direction until you encounter white letters that read “Quad Courtyard.” From here, go left and ascend the spire in search of a large rectangular hole that leads to the tower’s Floo Flame you marked.

Continue straight and turn right, keeping an eye out for a large woman with a puffy red dress. Once you spot her, stay at her elevation and go to the narrow tower behind her. Look for a floating white square and carefully position yourself directly above it. Dismount your Broom onto the square, and you will find yourself in the bedroom of the Gryffindor Common Room in Hogwarts Legacy. If you head outside and go up the spiraling stairwell, you can find the main area of the House, where you can activate the location’s Floo Flame.

Hogwarts Legacy is available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One, and PC.
