Treasure Maps can be found in Trash Piles, Dumpsters, Cardboard Boxes, and Zombie Corpses in 7 Days To Die. When you open these Treasure Maps, they will appear as quests in the quests section. We recommend that you go near your Base before you open it and hit the Accept button. The reason for this is that Treasuers will spawn within 500 to 1.5 KM of the location where you activate the quest.

Then go to Quests in your inventory and make sure the Treasure quest is selected. Then you will be able to see where the Treasure is on your compass at the top of your screen. When you arrive at the location of the treasure, you will see a big circle. Your Treasure is waiting for you somewhere inside this circle. The circle will shrink by 1 meter for every 10 blocks you dig inside the circle. In this way, you will eventually reach your Treasure by shrinking the circle.

How To Get Better Loot From Treasure Maps

In 7 Days To Die, you can get to the Treasure Chest faster by using the best perks for treasure hunting. Moreover, you can also increase the loot that comes out of them. In the Skills section, go to Treasure Hunter and purchase the Plunder, Marauder, and Treasure Hunter perks. These 7 Days To Die best perks will allow you to shrink the treasure circle faster and find more items in the chests.

You will also get a +5 Loot Bonus and -1 Dig Radius Reduction if you wear Lucky Googles while Treasure Hunting. This way you get more loot and dig faster.

How To Open Treasure Chests

In 7 Days To Die, you have 2 options to open the Treasure Chest after finding it. The first is to break the lock and the second is to Lockpicking. You need a Lockpick item to lockpick the chests, and your item may break while trying. To do lockpicking, hold “E” on the chest and select the Lock Pick option.

The other option, breaking the lock, you must hit the Treasure Chest until it loses all its health. These chests have a total of 7000 health, and the best way to break them is Pickaxe, Sledgehammer, and Auger.

7 Days to Die is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
