You can fix the Buried Treasure Glitch inย Fallout 76ย by fast-traveling outside and returning to the cave where the NPC got stuck. This will often reset the bug and allow you to progress in the quest.ย
- Once you get stuck with your NPC, fast-travel outside the cave.
- Return to the entrance and enter the cave where the NPC got stuck. If the glitch has reset, you can progress in the quest as usual.
Once you fast-travel outside, the game reloads the NPC and fixes the Buried Treasure Glitch in Fallout 76. Do not reload the game since it will result in you starting the quest from the beginning.
Additional Fixes For the Glitch
If fast-traveling doesn’t work, you can try other methods before purging yourself from the server. For example:
- Don’t skip dialogue
