You can fix the “client is not running” anti-cheat error in Apex Legends by copying the EasyAntiCheat_x64.dll file. This is the best solution given so far from other players. Below are the steps you need to follow:

  1. Locate the EasyAntiCheat Folder: Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Hry\Apex and click on the EasyAntiCheat folder.
  2. Copy the EasyAntiCheat_x64.dll File: In the EasyAntiCheat folder, look for a file named EasyAntiCheat_x64.dll. Right-click on the EasyAntiCheat_x64.dll file and select Copy.
  3. Paste the File into the Apex Legends Folder: Navigate to the main Apex Legends folder (where you initially found the EasyAntiCheat folder). Right-click in a space within the folder and select Paste to copy the EasyAntiCheat_x64.dll file here.
  4. Verify the Game Files: Go to your game library. Right-click on Apex Legends and select Repair or Verify Game Files from the menu. This will check for missing or corrupted files and replace them as necessary, including the newly copied EasyAntiCheat_x64.dll file.
  5. Restart Your Computer: After completing the verification process, restart your computer to ensure all changes take effect properly.
  6. Launch Apex Legends: Once your computer is back on, launch Apex Legends and check if the error persists.
