What you discover in Baldur’s Gate 3 will task you with all kinds of things, like saving Shadowheart or fixing the elevator in Druid Grove. It seems silly to patch up people’s equipment, but you never know where things will lead when you begin a path in the Dungeons & Dragons game. Fixing the elevator is not a complicated objective, so we can give you an easy-to-follow guide on how you can get it in working order. It will benefit you by being a shortcut from the bottom of Druid Grove to the upper level.

The Steps to Fix the Elevator in Druid Grove in Baldur’s Gate 3

When you go to Druid Grove, go to the right to reach the elevator. You will meet Timber the Squirrel and notice the lever to activate the elevator does not work. Whether you pan your camera to see the elevator’s base or go down to check out what is wrong, you will see a sleeping bear, Tuffet. You will need him to move over for you to pull the lever. It is simple but will require Animal Handling, so use your party member with the highest Animal Handling.  Below we have the easy steps on what you need to do once you select the character to get this done:

  • Speak to Tuffet to move over, who will go back to sleep but not in your way.
  • Pass the Animal Handling check.
  • Use the lever.

You have alternative ways to move Tuffet, as Baldur’s Gate 3 always gives you options to handle a situation, even when moving a bear off an elevator. You can kill the sleepy bear if you are that monstrous of a person. For any method that involves killing, you should ask your team if they all approve to ensure you don’t ruin any relationships. For non-monsters, you can throw a fish for him to go after for a post-nap snack. Speak with Animals is always a useful spell when dealing with animals, which can be used as a learned spell or a scroll.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is available on PC, including Steam Deck support. It will launch on PS5 on September 6.
