In addition, it is necessary for making some potent elixirs and fusing with weapons. However, since this monster part is dropped from Naydra’s mouth, some players find it challenging to obtain. Therefore, this guide will tell you how to get a Shard of Naydra’s Fang in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

You can get a Shard of Naydra’s Fang in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom by hitting Naydra’s mouth. Naydra generally appears moving around Mount Lanayru, heads toward the southern region to East Necluda, and disappears near Kakariko Village. Therefore, the best location to spot this dragon will be Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower. The exact location is shown on the map above.

Also, if you have unlocked the Sensor, add Naydra to it. That way you will get the notification when it is around. Once you spot the creature, here are the steps you must follow to get Naydra’s Fang in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

  1. Drop from Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower and fly to the creature using the glider.
  2. Get near its mount and wait until it opens its mouth.
  3. Shoot an arrow into the mouth. If you have done it correctly, the Shard of Naydra’s Fang will drop.
  4.  Get to the location it dropped and collect the Fang.

What Is Shard of Naydra’s Fang?

Despite its fragile origin, Shard of Naydra’s Fang in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is much more complex than any metal, providing a valuable weapon upgrade for many players. It gives and extra 20 attack power when fused on any weapon. Additionally, it can be cooked into a meal or used for armor upgrades such as Tier Three Tunic of the Wild upgrades.

There are many ingredients you can craft with this Fang. It is used to make 13 different recipes. For example, You can make Chilly Elixir which gives Link heat resistance, while some of the other recipes enhance speed and defense, as well as elixirs that replenish health and stamina.

In Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, the Shard of Naydra’s Fang is an essential item every player must have in their arsenal due to its versatility. Combining the right ingredients can create potent elixirs that will help them dominate the game.
