This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

The shower in Lethal Company is one of the decorative items you can buy to diversify the interior of your ship. With a rather decent price tag, you might be wondering if it brings any benefit. There are several theories about what this thing is for, as some say it helps you relax and relieve paranoia to avoid Ghost Girl, but let’s break it down in Further detail.

Like most other decorative items, you can purchase a shower using the store in the terminal. It is worth noting that it may not appear in the list of available items immediately, so you will have to complete several quotas. If you notice this item in the store while interacting with the terminal, you can buy it for 180 credits, which is a rather high price considering how many other useful items you could buy. If you are one of those players who have never used the terminal and preferred only raiding the facility and traveling around the planet, here is a short instruction on how to buy a shower:

  • Go to the ship.
  • Go to the terminal on the right side of the ship and interact with it using the E key.
  • When the interface appears, type the word Store and press Enter to open the store.
  • When this is done, look through the list of items for a shower.
  • If it’s there, type the word Shower and press Enter to place your order.
  • Last, manually type Confirm and press Enter to confirm your purchase.

Compared to smaller items, you won’t need to wait for the delivery ship to bring the order. Instead, the shower will appear on the ship right away, so you can interact with it and rotate it to place it in the desired location.

Using the shower is easy, all you have to do is go to the shower and press the E button to turn it on. As soon as you do, the water will start to flow, accompanied by the corresponding sound. The shower takes up quite a bit of space on the ship and costs a lot of money, so you’re probably wondering how useful it is.

The answer is ambiguous because the shower does not perform any useful function except for entertainment. There are speculations among players that using the shower can help you get rid of paranoia so that Ghost Girl doesn’t chase you and choose another target. But this is not true, the shower does not provide such a buff, instead, you can simply come back to the ship after the raid to wash off the blood, dust, and dirt.

Lethal Company is available on PC via Steam.
