Initially, you needed Bellows in 7 Days To Die to build a Forge, but updates to the game replaced it with the improved Advanced Bellows. With Bellows out of the picture in the game, your focus now is just on Advanced Bellows. They can add some support once you have your Forge built. We’ll explain everything about Bellows, Advanced Bellows, and what you need to craft them. Beyond that, we will even show you the new crafting recipe needed to build the Forge.
Crafting Advanced Bellows in 7 Days To Die
7 Days To Die features numerous resources to bolster your chances of surviving this apocalyptic wasteland filled with hungry monsters. One thing you must have is the Forge. With the Forge, you can craft necessities like building supplies, ammunition parts, cooking resources, and tools.
So, where do Bellows in 7 Days To Die come into play? Well, it doesn’t exist anymore. Instead, when you search for resources in the game, you will see Advanced Bellows show in their place. Previously, you needed the following materials to create Bellows:
- x6 Wood
- x20 Leather
- x1 Short Iron Pipe
Many players felt it was wasteful to use such resources on something just to build something else. So, 7 Days To Die removed Bellows, replacing them with Advanced Bellows. Now, all you need to assemble a Forge in the game are the resources listed below:
- x50 Small Stone
- x60 Clay Soil
- x10 Leather
- x3 Duct Tape
- x3 Short Iron Pipe
Once you have your Forge up and running, the next step is to upgrade it. In 7 Days To Die, Advanced Bellows come in handy for upgrading the Forge. Before you can craft them, you must either find or buy the schematics for them.
With the schematics in hand, you will need the following resources:
- x6 Wood
- x20 Leather
- x2 Short Iron Pipe
- x5 Duct Tape
- x5 Nails
Once you have Advanced Bellows in 7 Days To Die, you can use them to upgrade the Forge. They will grant the Forge +50% in smelting speed. It can allow you to work faster to create your various tools and supplies.
Additionally, you can always sell Advanced Bellows for 100. If you are short on another resource, you can scrap them down too. When you dismantle Advanced Bellows, you’ll receive Leather.
So, although Advanced Bellows still serve the Forge like Bellows used to, there are a couple more uses for the newer version, making it far more useful.
7 Days To Die is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
