The Cherry Bomb is a Weapon in Vampire Survivors that hurls ball-shaped projectiles at enemy targets. After striking their first targets, these projectiles will continue to bounce enemies, walls, and even the edges of the screen. As the Weapon’s name suggests, the Cherry Bomb’s projectiles have a slight chance of exploding, dealing AoE damage to surrounding enemies. The possibility of projectile explosion is based on the Weapon’s Luck and level. Accordingly, the Cherry Bomb has great potential to scale well into the late-game portions of a stage run, offering explosive AoE damage while also pummeling enemies with its bouncy Weapon projectiles in Vampire Survivors.
Unlocking the Cherry Bomb in Vampire Survivors
To get the Cherry Bomb in Vampire Survivors, players must first unlock Cavallo, a playable character whose Starting Weapon is the Cherry Bomb. Yatta Cavallo is obtained by killing an enemy mob type known as Lion Heads, hostile creatures that have the head of a real-world lion but lack a body. Instead, tentacle-like appendages are attached to its head.

How to Evolve Lightning Ring in Vampire Survivors
According to the Vampire Survivors Wiki, Lion Heads only spawn within the Inlaid Library, the second stage that players unlock during their playthrough. To enter this stage, fans must first reach Level 20 in Mad Forest, after which the Inlaid Library will become accessible via the Stage Selection menu. Once players are in the library, their next objective is to slay a total of 3,000 Lion Heads to unlock Cavallo. Like all enemy mobs, the Lion Heads will come to the players’ position, so searching for this opponent is not necessary.
It should be noted that the 3,000-kill requirement can be done over the course of several runs, meaning that players might need to play the Inlaid Library multiple times before Cavallo is unlocked in Vampire Survivors. Nonetheless, once Cavallo is unlocked and has been purchased, the Cherry Bomb Weapon will begin appearing in runs with other characters in Vampire Survivors. Alternatively, if players ever encounter The Merchant NPC on a stage, they can purchase the Cherry Bomb directly for a costly investment of 1,000 Gold. Newcomers are encouraged to save their Gold and instead acquire the Cherry Bomb through RNG means via gameplay.
Vampire Survivors is available on PC, Xbox Game Pass, and mobile platforms.
