How to Get Cotton in Soulmask

While you can get most materials out in the wild, Soulmask challenges players to delve deep into enemy territory to get some of the rarest ones. During your Soulmask journey, you’ll soon learn that cotton is an essential reagent, and knowing how to get it can be a game-changer. Given its importance to create other crafting ingredients or just the need to start growing it at your plots, doing a quick expedition behind enemy lines will be fruitful.

Where To Find Cotton in Soulmask

The fastest way to get cotton in Soulmask is by heading to the Flint Tribe’s Barbarian Barracks. So far, during the game’s current state, this is the only place where we’ve found it. You can use the above image as a reference. There are two ways to get to this area. The first involves exploring aimlessly, and the other requires you to suck the living soul out of someone. The latter is better, but we’ll list both.

1. If you prefer doing some exploration, head northwest from your starting area until you spot the Flint tribe. Eventually, you’ll come across the barracks, which is where you can find cotton. However, there is an easier way to pinpoint the location.
2. Whenever you find a Barbarian Camp, interact with a scout and interrogate them. This will reveal the location of the Barracks.

Once you reach the spot, it is important to know that you might not find cotton straight away. Sometimes, the crop might still be growing, so you can wait around the area, clear the camp, and then return to where the crops are to pick cotton. Also, if you want an easier way to get cotton in Soulmask, we recommend taking it back to your base and starting planting. Doing so will give you an almost unlimited source of cotton, which you’ll need to build Coarse Cotton and Yarn.
