The Sinnoh generation of Pokemon had such a wide variety of interesting and generally unique Pokemon. Of these was Chingling, a bell-like Pokemon who evolves into Chimecho. The famed Pokemon makes its return in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask where you can catch it for yourself! Considering that, we have written out exactly how to get and evolve Chingling in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask.
How To Get Chingling in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask
To find a CHingling, you need to head over to the Crystal Pool towards the center of the Kitakami map. We were able to find it in the same area as Yanma and Barboach. This is where we were able to locate the Pokemon, but others have reported having luck in most areas at the center of the map. Once you do actually catch one for yourself, it will be registered as number 142 just before Chimecho and after Dusknoir. After adding Chingling to your party, you’ll want to evolve it into Chimecho which is pretty easily done so long as you know what you are doing.
If you would rather not have to go through the trouble of evolving Chingling to Chimecho, then you can try your luck at catching one instead. In the same areas that you would normally find Chingling, you should also be able to spot Chimecho with it’s long, blue and red body that resembles a windchime.
How To Evolve Chingling The Teal Mask
In order to evolve Chingling, you will need to ensure that when you level it up, it is nighttime and the Pokemon has High Friendship. Without this, you can level up your Chingling over and over again and it would never evolve.
