Where To Catch Slugma in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask DLC
To find and catch Slugma in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask DLC, you must go to the Kitakami region and search the central and mountainous areas. First of all, we recommend taking a walk between such locations as Crystal Pool and Kitakami Hall. You will probably find a few Slugma pretty quickly. But if you’re unlucky, searching the area northwest of Crystal Pool may bring success.
Since Slugma is a relatively weak Pokemon, you can catch it at the beginning of the battle using Quick Ball. But you must fight this Pokemon if you are unlucky or don’t want to waste such a rare Pokeball. As a Fire-type Pokemon, Slugma is weak against Water, Ground, and Rock-type attacks, so using the appropriate Pokemon will guarantee a quick fight. On the other hand, you should avoid using Pokemon with Fire, Grass, Ice, Bug, Steel, and Fairy-type attacks. The fight can protract as Slugma has resistance to these types.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask: Evolving Slugma into Magcargo
The Slugma family includes only two Pokemon: Slugma and the subsequent evolutionary form Magcargo. So you don’t have to spend much time getting both of them. But we advise you not to rush and first find the best candidate for evolution. More specifically, you should catch a Slugma with Modest, Quiet, or Timid Natures, the best options for this Pokemon. Once you find a suitable Slugma, you only need to level it up to level 38, after which it can evolve into Magcargo. Luckily, you don’t need additional items, which speeds up the process of evolution.
