Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is finally here, and players can get enough of this game. Not only the game is huge in terms of locations, quests, and items, but it has a vast creation system that players have to spend more time building things than actually progressing with the campaign. But if you are the type of player that tends to finish the main story, then there is a good chance you’ve already been to the Goron areas of Eldin. In order to pass through this location, you have to get fire resistance, and here is how to get it in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

If you have wandered around the vast world of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom then there is a good chance you’ve come across the firey locations of Goron in Eldin. If you don’t have fire resistance in this location, you will get hurt, and there is a good chance you won’t even be able to pass through. But there are ways to become fire resistant or fireproof in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Before getting into becoming fireproof in the game, it is important to know that only Link can get fire resistance, not his weapons or shields. So if you equip any wooden weapon or shield, it will be broken much faster.

There are two ways you can become fire-resistant in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. The first method is to use Fireproof Elixiers. In order to make a Fire Resistance Elixier, you need monster parts of a fireproof lizard or smothering butterfly. You can either get them by hunting those creatures in Eldin Canyon or Eldin Mountains or buy them from Beedle at Woodland Stable.

Depending on how many fireproof critters you use, the elixir will last longer. The only problem with this method is that it only works for a certain period of time. So in case you need to be fire-resistant and don’t have the ingredients, you have to travel to those locations, make the elixir, and then come back to where you were before.

As for the second method, you have to spend some money, but at least you can become fire-resistant anytime you want. You can buy theย Flamebreaker armor set from Goron City, which will provide some heavy fire resistance to Link. To get the Helm, Armor, and Boots, you need 3,300 rupees. In case you don’t have that much money, check our guide on how to earn money quickly in Tears of the Kingdom. You can pass the Goron areas by just equipping one piece of this armor set, but buying the whole set will help you with some enemies, and boss fights as well.

Tears of the Kingdomย is available for Nintendo Switch.
