From All Angles is one of many Providence Trials you can complete to unlock new skills for your characters. Here, you will play Engineer with the new Shockwave Mine skill. This Trial requires some strategic planning, so below we’ll clue you in on how to get From All Angles gold rank in Risk of Rain Returns. This challenge may take you longer to complete than the others, as it’s quite easy to lose, especially if your turrets get broken.

Getting a gold rank in this challenge can be a long process, as you need to get at least 100 points. Your main goal in this challenge is to kill all the enemies and defend the turrets you place. If one of the turrets is destroyed, you will lose.

The first thing you’ll need to do is place the turrets correctly. We recommend placing them under the platform where items are sold, to the right and left. This way, you can better control the crowd and stand on the flank where more enemies appear. In addition, this position is useful because you can re-trigger tank enemies to a higher platform to avoid contact with the turret.

The next step is to select the items you can buy on the higher platform. From the start, as well as during pauses between waves of enemies, you can buy upgrades for your turrets. There are 3 capsules with items on the platform that always spawn randomly so that you can buy them with the money you earn from killing enemies. It’s worth noting that these upgrades only apply to turrets, not to you. Among all the items that will appear, we recommend the following:

  • ATG Missle Mk. 1
  • Sticky Bomb
  • Brilliant Behemoth
  • Prison Shackles

The last thing to do is to try and control the crowd of enemies. Try to maneuver between two turrets and fight on the side with more mobs. Also, don’t forget to use your skills, especially Shockwave Mine, which is the focus of this challenge. Place mines in front of the turrets so that enemies who get too close take damage and are knocked back. Continue to keep control of the enemies and upgrade your turrets until you have 100 points and get a Gold Rank. Once you do, you will complete the challenge and claim your reward.
