To learn how to get Frox Fangs in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you must know where to find them and how to face this foe. Frox is a huge beast that roams Hyrule’s Depths. He can turn you into his favorite snack with just one leap. Frox is one of the new enemy introductions in Tears of the Kingdom, and it is as disgusting as he is deadly. After you defeat it, it’ll drop a sharp fang, which is useful for your weapons and elixirs. Keep reading this guide to find out how to get them in the Depths.

Each battle you win against a Frox will reward you with 2 Frox fangs.

  1. South of Grove of time
  2. Northwest of Nabooru Canyon Mine, across the river.
  3. West of Falora Canyon Mine and south of Nabooru Canyon Mine.
  4. Southeast of Falora Canyon Mine.
  5. Northeast of Wellspring and south of Kawisar Lightroot.
  6. To the Northeast of Kawisar Lightroot.

How to Beat Frox in Tears of the Kingdom

First, you must stun the Frox and knock it off its high horse. Here’s the grand plan: Attach a Bomb Flower to an arrow and shoot it right into the Frox’s gaping mouth when it least expects it. The resulting explosion will send shockwaves through its tummy, leaving the Frox vulnerable. If you run out of Boom Flowers, you can find more of these explosive delights in the Depths.

If arrows are a no-go, you can still save the day by attaching a Bomb Flower to your trusty spear and hurling it at the Frox like a heroic javelin thrower. Sure, you’ll lose your weapon in the process, but victory tastes sweeter when served with daring sacrifices.

Once you’ve successfully stunned the Frox, seize the moment and unleash your fury on the crystals adorning its back. But here’s the trick of the trade: Aim for not one but two crystals simultaneously to reduce double the health.

You can cook Frox Fangs in Tears of the Kingdom in a bubbling cauldron to create elixirs. Mix them with other monster parts and critters for a maximum flavor explosion. Still, these fangs aren’t just for cooking. You can also attach them to your weapons, arrows, or shields and watch your gear become the envy of all adventurers.

Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
