Are you looking for a Group Abomination Tacet Core in Wuthering Waves? Well, then, you must prepare yourself for a tough battle since you can only get this ascension material by beating the Mech Abomination world boss. Although this area is connected to a main quest, new players can still explore the abandoned research building. While you won’t be able to enter the rooms on the second floor, you can reach the boss arena in the underground chamber.

You can farm Group Abomination Tacet Cores by beating the Mech Abomination world boss inside the Court of Savantae Ruins. This abandoned structure can be found southeast of Jinzhou city. This building is located on a high elevation, and I recommend approaching it from the north.

After you unlock the Resonance Beacon, you can head inside and look for the circular hole in the ground. Although there is an elevator, you can just jump in and use a charged attack to avoid fall damage. The boss will only awaken when you get too close.

The Mech Abomination is an Overlord class Tacet Discord with an Electro element. So, avoid using units with the same element, like Calcharo. Compared to Feilian Beringal, this monster is slightly slower. Unfortunately, it makes up for its speed with its powerful attacks.

Staying on the boss’ backside allows you to avoid some damage. However, you’re not completely safe since the Mech Abomination can also perform a spin attack. Another dangerous move is the grab attack, where it tries to capture you with its left hand. The monster can even send waves of lightning that you can dodge by moving away.

You can throw fallen rocks at the Mech Abomination to stun it.

When you reduce the Mech Abomination’s HP to half, it will roar and cause two chunks of rubble to fall. You can use your levitation ability to launch these fallen debris to hit the boss. If you’re successful, the monster will be immobilized, giving you room to land damage.

Beating the boss gives you a chance to obtain one Mech Abomination Echo. You will also need to spend 60 Waveplates to claim your rewards.

Here is the list of possible drops you may get from beating this world boss:

  • Union Experience
  • Shell Credit
  • Group Abomination Tacet Core
  • Medium Energy Core
  • Medium Resonance Potion
  • Medium Sealed Tube
