Keese Wings are common for making elixirs that boost your combat potential. While they aren’t as rare as Octorok Tentacles or as easy to find as Shock Fruits, they can be tricky if you aren’t paying attention. You might have a few if you often fight in caves, but you can’t remember how to harvest large amounts of Keese Wings. Even if you have a few, they are easy to use because you believe they aren’t hard to find if you don’t know how to get Keese Wings in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom if you forget and need a refresher.
How To Find Keese Wings in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Keese Wings come from Keese enemies, which can be found in almost every cave. If you are just starting out at Lookout Landing, you can check out the Passeri Greenbelt Cave to the west or Ranch Ruins Cave in the southeast. Some Keese enemies will fly out once you run in, and a few attacks should defeat some of them. They aren’t powerful enemies, but they can fly around and hit you for damage. Avoid using slower weapons since they might miss and prevent you from reacting in time.
Defeating a Keese won’t always lead to Keese Wings; it might take a few Keeses before the item drops. Don’t get discouraged, as Keeses are a common enemy, and you will likely encounter several of them as you explore caves. They have a distinctive shriek that lets you know they are there and that they see you. You won’t need a bow to defeat them as they fly close to you, putting them in range of melee weapons.
If you went through every cave you can think of or forgot to defeat Keeses during your exploration, it’s still possible to harvest Keese Wings. Just wait until another blood moon shows up, and the Keeses will respawn in the same areas and positions. This allows you to repeatedly get Keese Wings from familiar locations without wondering if you exterminated all the Keeses. Zelda Tears of the Kingdom has other items that combine with Keese Wings to create elixirs, and they are common enough to use as a base material. Now that you know how to get Keese Wings, you shouldn’t have a problem stocking your inventory with them.
