This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

While Blox Fruits newbies only noticed cosmetic changes during Update 20, experienced players got a ton of new content, from a new island to powerful Devil Fruits. But just as importantly, several terrible monsters have settled in the Third Sea of Blox Fruits, and you’ll need a Monster Magnet to meet them. To get this unique item, you must visit a new island and talk to the Shark Hunter NPC. More importantly, you’ll have to craft a few preliminary items and gather many rare materials, so let’s get everything in order.

First of all, it’s worth noting that you won’t be able to get a Monster Magnet until you reach the Third Sea. On the other hand, accessing the Third Sea is only the beginning, as you will have to go through the following steps to craft a Monster Magnet in Blox Fruits:

  • Get to Tiki Outpost Island and visit the Shark Hunter NPC.
  • Gather materials and craft the Shark Tooth Necklace and Terror Jaw to unlock the Monster Magnet recipe.
  • Collect four types of new materials — 2 Terror Eyes, 10 Shark Teeth, 8 Electric Wings, and 20 Fool’s Gold — and then craft the Monster Magnet. If you’re wondering how to get these specific materials, we have some tips below.
  • Use the Monster Magnet to face the Anchor Terrorshark to net you a powerful Legendary sword called the Shark Anchor.

Where To Find Shark Hunter NPC

The new island added in Update 20 is roughly between Turtle Island and Haunted Castle, so you won’t have any trouble getting to it. Once you are on the island, climb up the tallest building in the center of the island and find the Spy NPC. Next, go left from Spy and jump down onto the large brown roof to the left of the giant tree. Go down the stairs, after which you will meet the Shark Hunter NPC.

How To Get the Materials to Craft a Monster Magnet

You will not find a Monster Magnet among Shark Hunter NPC goods upon first meeting him. After all, unlocking this item requires the creation of other accessories, namely the aforementioned Terror Jaw and Shark Tooth Necklace. Once you have both accessories, you finally can craft the Monster Magnet recipe:

  • Terror Eyes x2. You can get this material by defeating the new Terrorshark raid boss.
  • Shark Tooth x10. You can get this material by defeating Terrorsharks.
  • Electric Wings x8. You can get this material by killing Piranhas around Tiki Island. Additionally, you can obtain this material by completing the Ghost Ships Sea Event.
  • Fool’s Gold x20. Find this material in random chests during the Ghost Ships Sea Event.

As we said earlier, the Monster Magnet is a Mythical material that helps you encounter sea monsters, like the Anchor Terrorshark, which is a type of Terrorshark that possesses a 100% drop rate for Shark Anchors; a very powerful type of Legendary sword. Do note that the Monster Magnet will disappear if you fail to kill the Terrorshark. You’ve been warned!
