Morpeko is really well-known as Marnie’s main Pokemon in Pokemon Sword and Shield. The famous rodent Pokemon returns in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask with both its Full Belly mode and its Hangry mode. Morpeko can be pretty easily found just south of Oni Mountain and north of Mossui Town. This area is abundant with Morpeko, making it so that you don’t really have to look too hard if you’re really trying your hand at finding one. The Pokemon has two different modes that can be executed during battle, Hangry mode and Full Belly mode, as we discussed above. When in Full Belly mode, Morpeko is at its regular, yellow, brown, and gray color scheme whereas in Hangry mode, it takes on a purple and black color with red, angry eyes. This only happens in battle, so you don’t have to worry about searching for the Hangry version of this Pokemon in the wild if you’re still having trouble finding one.

When you finally catch and register a Morpeko, it will be registered as number 95 in the Kitakami Dex just after Hatterene and before Orthworm.

Morpeko Type, Abilities, and Type Effectiveness
