Want to know how to get Pulse Rifle in Dead Space Remake? Departing to the USG Ishimura’s call for help, Isaac Clarke did not anticipate the dangers that awaited him. But to survive and save as many crew members as possible, you can’t do without weapons. As you progress through the game, you can get seven different weapons, and the Pulse Rifle is one of these. Pulse Rifle probably won’t help you against all opponents, but when you get attacked by fast opponents like tweeters, this is what you need. Luckily, you can get Pulse Rifle in Dead Space Remake pretty early in the story, and we’ll help you with that.

Where to Find Pulse Rifle in Dead Space Remake

As we said, Pulse Rifle is the best weapon against fast opponents like Twitchers and Spider Necromorphs. This weapon has 50 impulse shots, a high rate of fire, and satisfactory damage, which allows you to kill up to three enemies without aiming. But to get this weapon, you must get to Сhapter 2.

Once you have completed the first chapter, stop by the Intensive Care Unit at the beginning of the second chapter. Next, here’s what you need to do to get Pulse Rifle in Dead Space Remake:

  • Look around and find some crates by one of the doors.
  • Move the Crates with Kinesis and then enter the door.
  • Here you will see a dying soldier, and you should immediately clarify that you will not be able to help him. But the weapon he is trying to keep their last strength will come in handy for you.
  • Retrieve the Pulse Rifle from a soldier. And honor his memory with a shot in the air in gratitude for such a valuable item.

Using this weapon does not require special skills. But still, you should immediately make a couple of test shots to feel the recoil and fire rate and get used to the scope. You will probably use this weapon throughout the game, but not against all opponents. For example, this weapon is almost useless against massive opponents. The skin of some massive Necromorphs is so durable you need to use a few cartridge-clip before the enemies fall off. But if some spiders try to jump on your face, Pulse Rifle will explain to them that you should not do this.

Dead Space Remake is available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
