Want to know how to get Resin in Sons of the Forest? Although your adventure in Sons of the Forest begins with almost no items, rest assured that you will be able to find everything you need to survive on the island. The island has everything from clothing and a rebreather to tools and food. But still, some items, such as the Red Mask, are not available on the vast island. And you need a 3D Printer and Resin to craft some items. And our guide is here to help you and tell you how to get Resin in Sons of the Forest.

Where to Find Resin in Sons of the Forest

While you can find a 3D Printer in almost every bunker shortly after you start your travels, many players do not know where to find Resin. But everything is relatively easy because there are bottles of Resin in all four bunkers with a 3D Printer. Depending on the bunker, find shelvings in different rooms and collect Resin on the shelves.

We recommend visiting the Maintenance A and B bunkers northwest and southwest of the island. You will not encounter mutants in these bunkers, so these are safe for a beginner. Get to the point in the image above and start digging with the Shovel. Soon you will find a hatch, and you can enter the bunker. Go straight down the corridor to the back room and pick up Resin on one of the shelves. Some players on the forums said that after manually saving the game while in the bunker and entering the game with a new save file, all consumable items in the room, including Resin, respawn. So you can visit just one bunker and get Resin in the Sons of the Forest bunker as much as you want.

In addition, sometimes you can find Resin in boxes and containers all over the island and in cannibal camps. So only travel, and you will find what you need.

As we said earlier, Resin’s only use is in the 3D Printer. But in fact, you can craft a lot of valuable items, and here is a complete list of them:

  • Grappling Hook
  • Tech Mesh
  • Sled
  • Arrows
  • Flask
  • Mask

As of 2023, Sons of the Forest is available only on PC.
