You can find Restless Crickets inย Zelda Tears of the Kingdomย in grassy areas of Hyrule Field and nearย Hateno Ancient Tech Lab. The exact locations are shown on the above map. However, you will not find them by their chirping. You have to cut tall grasses or look inside rocks to find them.

However, cutting grass is easy compared to lifting rocks. First, you must go into an area with tall grasses and use the sword to cut them. The areas mentioned above are full of tall grassy patches. So, you can easily find enough of them once you explore the location.

Who Are Restless Crickets in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?

The Restless Cricket is a small yet energetic critter. While it may seem insignificant at first glance, this tiny creature has a valuable purpose within the game. Players can create a stamina-recovery elixir by cooking it with monster parts to help Link in battle and exploration as one of many critters that can be used as an elixir ingredient. In addition, it adds more depth to the game’s crafting system.

However, adding Restless Cricket alone to the elixir does not give much stamina. So make sure you add another monster part to craft a powerful portion because having a good stamina elixir is very important in the game since you can explore more and fight stronger monsters.

The Restless Cricket inย Zelda Tears of the Kingdomย can also be used to craft green dye. Additionally, the “A Gift for My Beloved” side quest tasks you with catching 10 of them as one objective. This is a great way to get experience points and rewards. Overall, Restless Cricket adds an interesting element to the game and keeps things exciting for players. So, if you want to craft potent elixirs or complete side quests, don’t forget to go on the hunt for these creatures! The below video fromย PunchNshootย shows how to catch 10 Restless Cricket to complete the A Gift for My Beloved side quest.
