As you strive to restore your home in Disney Dreamlight Valley, your initial objective is to rescue the villagers. However, to increase Disney characters’ happiness, you must improve the economy in the area. This will allow you to purchase upgrades and houses for each character. While this may seem daunting, fear not! In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you can accumulate a massive amount of Coins by farming and utilizing Rich Soil. So, equip your Royal Shovel and Watering Can as you’re about to embark on a journey of mud and coins.

Getting Rich Soil in Disney Dreamlight Valley is a time-consuming task because its drops are relatively low. You will probably only get one material for every 20-30 plants harvested. The easiest way is to plant as many wheat seeds as possible because each costs 1 Star Coin at Peaceful Meadow’s Goofy Stand. In addition, wheat seeds only take 1 minute to mature fully. Rich Soil appears more when digging in the Soil from where you just harvested the wheat or when you are harvesting, although the rate is lower in this case.

Rich Soil Usage

Rich Soil is necessary in the recipe to create the Miracle Growth Elixir and the Even More Miraculous Growth Elixir. These potions are essential to improve the Watering Can. Even in Nature & Nurture, Scar’s introductory quest, he will ask you to create a Miracle Growth Elixir to plant the Orb of Nurturing near the Sunlit Plateau pillar. This quest will take days to complete. You must take care of the Orb as a seed, and once fully restored, you will have recovered the savannah area. At the end of this quest, you can start fishing in the Sunlit Plateau.

Rich Soil is also used to create Soil since x1 of Rich Soil is equivalent to crafting x5 Soil. Another use for this material is to sell it; with each Rich Soil, you can earn 25 Star Coin. Or you can give it as a gift to your villagers, believe me, they will gladly accept this present, so you can take advantage of it to improve your friendships in the Valey. To make the process easier, look for a planting area near your house or carry enough food in your inventory so you don’t run out of energy while planting or digging.
