Bethesda loves to fill its worlds with useful and useless material for you to stash in your inventory. Starfield is full of resources with various paths on how you can get them, including Sealant. This common organism resource is easy to find, but with such a vast universe, it can be overwhelming. Let’s narrow it down for you to find this important yet abundant resource.

Starfield: Ways to Get Sealant

Let’s quickly break down where and how you can get Sealant in Starfield before we get into deeper details:

  • Purchase from vendors in major settlements and cities
  • Harvest from plants or dead animals
  • Find in containers and shelves

If you are willing to spend money on resources rather than looting them, you can buy this organic resource from vendors in any major city. Go to the resource tab to see if they are currently carrying Sealant. If this is your plan, then unlock the Commerce skill to make the prices go down. Below is a list of vendors who are easy to reach, like in New Atlantis and other cities you come across early on.

  • Outlands– Commercial District (New Atlantis, Jemison)
  • UC Distribution – Commercial District (New Atlantis, Jemison)
  • Apex Electronics – The Well (New Atlantis, Jemison)
  • Sieghart’s Outfitters – (Neon, Volii Alpha)
  • Newill’s Goods – (Neon, Volii Alpha)
  • Any Trade Authority vendor (Major cities, like the ones listed above)

If you are looking at how to get Sealant in Starfield, there is no science in finding it randomly. It will appear in random cabinets, shelves, and other interactable containers that could hold it. Just remember to loot everything you see, from bodies to containers. Thankfully, it is everywhere. You should not have a tough time searching as long as you are patient.

The good thing about this being an organic material is that you can harvest it as long as you find the right place. Go to planets with fauna, meaning there will be life. Certain plants and creatures will have Sealant to harvest. Use your scanner; once an organism is fully scanned, it will tell you its resources. Take notes to remember locations and organisms with Sealant.

Starfield is available on Xbox Series X|S and PC. It is also available for Game Pass subscribers.
