In many creature-catching games, collecting rare monsters has always been seen as a badge of honor, reflecting the patience and dedication of the owners. Tales Of Tanorio Roblox game offers its players the same thrill (and pain) of spotting and capturing Shinies or uniquely-colored Tanorians. While this elusive variant of the creatures doesn’t come with bonus stats, their distinct skins provide different appeal to both their owners and any onlookers. Of course, you will need particular strategies and know-how to be able to get one yourself.
Can You Get Shinies Starter in Tales Of Tanorio? Answered
You can get a Shiny Rabush, Charcile, or Chewaqua the Starter Tanorians during the tutorial segment of the game. All three creatures have a 1:666 Shiny rate or 36% chance of appearing as a Shiny when introduced by Professor Iroko. With that in mind, you should be able to obtain a Shiny Starter during 3,000 resets, speaking strictly mathematically.
How to Get Shiny Tanorians in Random Encounters
For the wild Tanorians though, the Shiny rate is 1:2000 or 0.05% spawn rate. To help you farm Shinies, Tales Of Tanorio comes with the Chaining feature. Every time you defeat one species of Tanorian, the Encounter Chain count will keep rising. You can see the counter on the bottom-right of your screen just above the Objective popup.
The Chain won’t affect the chance of encountering the same Tanorian. But doing so will increase the rate of Shiny up to 1:256 or 0.39% or spawning with better Unique/Effort Points. You can Chain up to 1,000 encounters, once you’ve hit that limit, the counter will reset.
Aside from going into the grass and waiting for random encounters, oftentimes Tanorians can appear on the overworld as well. The longer you stay in a Route or an area, the more of these Tanorians will show up. Usually, you can only see around 5 Tanorians on the field, but you can use Incenses to increase their counts to 15-20. Simply head over and touch them to start batting them. As you can see which Tanorian you’re going to fight, overworld encounters should help you grind Chains for Shinies in Tales Of Tanorio.
Capturing any Tanorian you encounter will remove the currently running Chains, as does defeating other species of Tanorian or blacking out. Nevertheless, running from a fight, quitting the game, and battling Trainers won’t remove it. Interestingly, after you’ve reached 50 Chains capturing will also won’t break it.
Several Tales Of Tanorio players on Discord claimed that a light pillar like Rupture Raid spot will appear if Shinies spawn in the area. However, we have not been able to confirm whether this is true.
Lastly, random Events can appear in Tales Of Tanorio, from increased spawn rate for specific Tanorian to buffed Shiny appearances. For that reason, we suggest keeping an eye out for official announcements in public servers or unique private servers when attempting to farm Shinies.
