You can find this location in the northeastern part of the game world. You can see the exact location in the image above. And once you are in the right place, go around the roots and down into the gorge to the spiders.
As we said, to get Silk, you will need Flint Shears. And if you haven’t got this tool yet, then go to Stonecutter and use the following ingredients to craft Flint Shears:
- Refined Wood x5. To get Refined Wood, you must combine Wood and Seed Oil.
- Fiber x5. You can get Fiber by cutting down any plants and saplings.
- Resin x5. To find Resin, you must look for orange Resin streaks on trees and seedlings.
- Flint x8. To collect Flint, you must break the black rocks with a Mandibular Pickaxe on the sandy shore in the southern part of the game world.

Once you have Flint Shears, head to the spider caves. Be prepared that the spiders will not like your invasion, so the presence of armor and weapons will be handy. But by breaking Spider Cocoon with Flint Shears, you can collect as much Silk as you want. In addition, Spider Cocoon also drops Insect Egg, which will also come in handy later.
