Hogwarts Legacy is unusual because it gives players two ways to get picked for House Slytherin. You can complete the first before even starting the game, while the second will occur during character creation, and you won’t even need the game’s best mods to make it happen.

To get picked for House Slytherin using the first method, you’ll need to visit Pottermore, a website connected to the official Wizarding World Site. There you’ll take a quiz that will tell you which house you belong to, as well as what your Patronus and wand are. Sadly, you won’t be able to take your custom Patronus with you into Hogwarts Legacy, but your house and wand carry with you into the game. Here’s the process you need to follow:

Thankfully, you get the initial House quest early on, so if you regret your pick you won’t have to do a bunch of grinding to get back to where you were. There’s also an achievement for making a character for each house, so that’s a plus.
