Finding the Smotherwing Butterfly in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom can be an excruciating process. Even if you can find these butterflies in the wild, they can be incredibly difficult to catch. Where To Find Smotherwing Butterflies in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
In Tears of the Kingdom, Smotherwing Butterflies are found in hot locations. Therefore, you can find them in regions where the weather is hot, such as Death Mountain and Eldin Canyon. You can use Sensor+ on Smotherwing Butterflies to see the ones near you. To unlock Sensor+, complete the Hateno Village Research Lab quest. Then, when you talk to Robbie, you must select the Sensor + option.
Best Way To Farm Smotherwing Butterflies in TotK
However, if you have plenty of Rupees, you can collect Smotherwing Butterfly from vendors in a much easier way.
- The first location is the Wetland Stable in the Hylia River. Here you will find Beedle, and you can buy 3 Smotherwing Butterflies from him.
- Then head to East Akkala Stable in the Akkala region, where you will see Beedle again. You can buy three more Smotherwing Butterflies from him again.
- Then return to East Akkala Stable and wait for the morning at the Campfire.
- Then teleport back to the Wetland Stable, and you will see Beedle. You can buy three more Butterflies.
- This time, wait for the morning at the Wetland Stable campfire and teleport back to the East Akkala Stable again.
- You will see Beedle again in the same place and be able to repurchase three more.
- By repeating this process continuously, you can get as many Smotherwing Butterflies as you want.
